Description of Species Medium – sized trees, usually branching from the base, with grey – glabrous bark. Stipular spines in pairs, slightly hooked, dark – brown. Leaf rachis downy, with a small gland at tha base and between uppermost pair of pinnae 2 – 3 pairs; leaflets 3 – 5 pairs , ovate – oblong, 8 – 10 x 6 – 6 mm, subcoriaceous, greyish – green, glabrous. Flowers white or pale – yellow, fragrant, in cylindrical drooping spikes. Corolla twice as long as calyx. Pods straight, strap – shaped, 4 – 8 x 1 – 1.5 cm, glabrous, 3 – 6 seeded. Leaf Details Leaf rachis downy, with a small gland at tha base and between uppermost pair of pinnae 2 – 3 pairs; leaflets 3 – 5 pairs , ovate – oblong, 8 – 10 x 6 – 6 mm, subcoriaceous, greyish – green, glabrous.
