Description of Species Subdeciduous, spreading trees, to 10 m high; bark grey-warty. Leaves broadly ovate or suborbicular, 12-32 x 10-28 cm, cordate or rounded at the base, subcoriaceous, green, pubescent beneath; basal nerves 6-7. Figs obconic with longitudinal ridges, 3.5-5.5 cm across, pubescent when young, red purple on ripening, in short thick panicualte clusters, on the trunk and larger branches. Basal bracats 3, triangular-ovate, small; orifice sunken and covered by 6-triangular apical bracts. Leaf Details Leaves broadly ovate or suborbicular, 12-32 x 10-28 cm, cordate or rounded at the base, subcoriaceous, green, pubescent beneath; basal nerves 6-7.
