Evergreen tree, up to 18 m tall, crown dense, round-topped, Bark smooth. Leaves pinnate, with 4-8 alternate, elliptic-oblong to lance-shaped, abruptly pointed, leaflets; leaflets somewhat leathery, smooth, glossy, dark-green on the upper surface and grayish-green beneath. Flower in panicle, tiny petal-less, greenish-white to yellowish. Fruits aril, borne in loose, hanging clusters of 2-30 strawberry-red, rose, pinkish or amber round balls, tinged with green. |
