A much branched, climbing shrub. Stem striate, glabrous, puberulous when young. Leaves very variable in size and shape, 2-5 cm long, 0.9-1.8 cm broad, rather coriaceous, lanceolate-oblong or ovate or absolutely trapezoidal. Male flowers sessile or shortly pedicellate, few-flowered, solitary or clustered. Fruit a drupe, 4-7 mm long, 4-5 mm broad, endocarp ribbed on the lateral faces. |
