Perennial twining herb, juice milky, branches with spreading hairs. Leaves broadly ovate or suborbicular, base cordate, tip acute to acuminate, glabrous or shortly pubescent above, usually velvety pubescent below. Flowers in lateral cymes. Bracts minute, lanceolate. Sepals ovate-lanceolate, generally hairy. Corolla greenish-yellow or dull white spreading, ovate-oblong, pubescent. Outer corona membranous, truncate, inner corona lobes, including the horns.
