Shrubs erect or sprawling, up to 3 m tall; young growth puberulent, glabrescent. Branches slender. Lleaf blade oblong-ovate or oblong-lanceolate, entire. Inflorescences drooping, many-flowered, axillary or terminal racemose panicles. Flowers strongly night scented. Calyx campanulate, lobes deltoid. Corolla greenish or whitish yellow, tube slightly contracted at throat. Filaments with dentate appendages, usually puberulent at point of insertion. Ovary l mm. Berry white, juicy, oblong or globose. Seeds 1-5, ellipsoid. |
