Shrub erect or scandent 5-15 ft. Bark dark brown. Leaves opposite, ovate-elliptic, obovate-oblong, lanceolate or ovate, 2-6 x 1.5-3 cm across, base cuneate to acute, margin entire to dentate-serrate.
