Description of Species Erect or diffused Shrub, to 1 m high; branches slender or triangular-sulcate, silky pubescent when young. Leaves 3-foliate; rachis 10-20 cm long; leaflets elliptic-ovate to elliptic-lanceolate, 10-18 x 4-5.5 cm, acute or subacute, lateral ones often oblique at base, silky hairy on nerves beneath; stipules cuspidate, acute, to 2 cm long. Flowers purple, in dense axillary or terminal racemes; bracts lanceolate, silky outside, caducous. Calyx densely silky . Keel obtuse. Pods oblong, 6-10 mm long, pubescent; 2-seeded.
