Description of Species Small tree up to 5 m tall, branches terete, striate, pubescent to villous. Leaves simply paripinnate, narrowly oblong-elliptical, stipules broadly ovate-cordate, acuminate; leaflets in 8-12 pairs, chartaceous, elliptical-oblong, apex rounded but mucronate, pubescent to glabrescent. Inflorescence 20-30 flowered, spike-like raceme; bracts ovate, black green, calyx 5, subequal, oblong-obovate, corolla 5, slightly unequal, stamens 10, filaments shorter than anthers, anthers of 2 lower stamens 9-11 mm long, 3 upper stamens staminodial.Fruit a flat, 8-14 seeded pod, linear-oblong.
