Description of Species |
Branched, bushy shrubs, up to 3 m tall; young twigs densely tomentose. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, acute or obtuse, densely tomentose beneath. Flowers in axillary, sessile 3-6 flowered clusters; bracts ovate, obtuse. Perianth greenish and white mealy tomentose outside; tube slender, curved, dark purple-brown; lobes 4, much shorter than tube, reflexed. Fruits clavate, bright orange, mealy tomentose. |
