Shrub about 5 m tall. Stem brown, thin smooth, stem and branches obtusely 4 angular, young parts stellately woolly, glabrous when mature, annulate nodes, internodes. Bark brown thin smooth stem and branches obtusely 4 angular. Leaves across base acute, margin crenate-serrate except near the base and apex. Flower cymes densely unevenly gray stellate tomentose. Calyx subtruncate, gray stellate tomentose, yellow glandular. Corolla purple, sparsely stellate tomentose. Fruit globose or subglobose succulent green and white or purple when ripe. |
