Much branched, leafless shrubs, up to 20 cm tall; stem jointed, ribbed, greenish-brown; branches terete, internodes. Flowers minute, sessile, clustered at the nodes, with small cupulate bracts. Perianth segments 4, erect, triangular, deciduous. Fruit a small drup, white; seeds green. |
