Description of Species | Erect or subscandent, evergreen shrubs, up to 15 m high; branches white or brown pubescent, marked withscars of fallen leaves. Leaves obovate, spathulate or oblong, pubescent or glabrescent, base cuneate, narrow, glabrescent, base cuneate. Flower in branched, terminal corymbose panicles. Florets purplish turning to creamy – white, ligulate. Involucre bracts lanceolate or ovate – lanceolate, acute, 3 – 4 seriate. Achenes densely hairy.
