| Description of Species | Erect shrubs or undershurbs, up to 2 m high; stem branched, silky – tomentose on young parts. Leaves subsessile, oblong – lanceolate, acute, margins toothed; thinly hairy above, grey – tomentose beneath. Flower in heads discoid (campanulate), in axillary and terminal corymbose panicles. Involucre bracts variable in size, hairy, linear – lanceolate, pale – green. Florets pale – yellow, sometimes with short ray florets; disc florets tubular, 5 – lobed with prominent ribs.
