Perennial, glabrous, undershrubs; up to 80 cm high. Leaves whorled, elliptic-lanceolate or oblanceolate, acute or acuminate. Flowers pink-rose or white, in terminal or axillary cymes. Calyx lobes small, lanceolate. Corolla tube usually curved, flattened above the middle. Fruit a drupe 1 or 2, shining, purplish-black when ripe. |
