Description of Species | Shrubs or small trees, to 8 m high, with grey bark. Leaves ovate lanceolate or oblong, 2.8-6 x 1.5-2.5 cm, acuminate, serrulate, scabrous on both sides, dark green above, paler beneath; petioles 2-4 mm long. Flowers small, greenish, in dense axillary clusters, not exceeding petioles. Perianth 5-parted. Stamens 5.
