Description of Species |
Deciduous trees, up to 10 m high; Bark dark – brown. Leaves compound, cordate or truncate at base, ovate to orbicular, coriaceous, glabrous or grey pubescent beneath. Flowers white, on lax terminal, leaf opposed, raceme, calyx spathaceous; limb reflexed. petals as long as calyx, white or pale – yellow. Fruit a ods turgid, rigid, falcate, indhiscent; 10 – 20 seeded; seeds compressed, dark red – brown. |
