Description of Species |
A small or medium sized tree. Bark pale-gray and smooth on young stems, dark brown or blackish. Stipular spines in pairs, straight. Leaflets 10 – 30 pairs, linear, crowded, about 5 x 1 mm. Flowers heads small, pale yellow, sweet scented, in large, terminal, leafless, densely tomentose panicles. Corolla twice as long as the calyx. Pods 10 – 15 x 0.6 x 1 cm, narrowly ligulate, with persistent, pale brown tomentum |
